Please take a look at the twelth issue of the FEHRL Infrastructure Research magazine (FIRM), which includes the SAFE-10-T (Safety of Transport Infrastructure on the TEN-T Network) project in one of its articles.

The SAFE-10-T is an European Union funded project commenced last year with the project's kick-off meeting taking place in Delft, the Netherlands.

GDG is responsible for coordinating this three year project and is managing an international consortium to develop a safety framework for critical road, rail and inland waterway infrastructure along the European TEN-T network. The framework will use remote monitoring data for tunnels, bridges and earthworks in conjunction with machine learning algorithms and traffic modelling tools to evaluate network safety performance due to extreme events.
