The Team at GDG supports clients with a range of specialist services including site assessments, earthworks designs, structural and geotechnical design of foundations for residential, commercial and industrial projects and onshore wind. We are a team of engineers and geoscientists that support clients on a broad range of earthworks, civil and environmental engineering design for onshore projects. To grow our in-house expertise, we are looking for a hands-on experienced geotechnical engineer who can collaborate effectively with fellow team members and support our project delivery works providing high quality technical input.

Key Responsabilities:
- Client liaison and project management
- Developing solutions to soil structure interaction problems
- Earthworks designs
- Pricing works/tendering
- Financial control of project budgets
- Mentoring junior staff
- Business development
Expertise Required:
Mandatory Experience
- Geotechnical ground investigation design and supervision
- Geotechnical interpretative report writing
Experience in some or all of the below would be beneficial:
- Foundation design
- Soil stabilisation design
- Geotechnical design of Roads and/or Wind Farm Infrastructure
- Peat Stability Assessment
- Mineral Stability Assessment
- Site supervision of ground engineering works
- Project Management
Education/Qualifications:
- Hold a University Degree in geotechnical/civil/ground engineering discipline.
