Role Description:

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an office assistant to join our expanding team in Dublin. At Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG), we are experts at finding innovative engineering solutions to some of the most challenging offshore wind, marine and infrastructure projects around the world.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Perform a variety of administrative duties, such as generating and distributing emails, letters, spreadsheets and correspondence
  • Maintain the IT register for the company and be the responsible person for all IT-related administrative tasks for the company.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
  • Handling administrative requests and queries from senior managers
  • Other administrative tasks as delegated by senior leadership

Expertise required:

  • Previous administrative experience is a distinct advantage.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
