Ireland is not on track to meet binding Renewable Energy Targets or binding Emissions Reduction Targets in Agriculture/Transport/Heat, and missing these targets will cost the country millions. Wind energy is currently the largest contributing resource of renewable energy in the country and plays a crucial role in Ireland’s strategy to meet its targets.
